We collaborated with a group of leading South African creatives for an impactful stills campaign.
We were briefed to launch Cointreau's new global initiative, the Cointreau Creative Crew, led by French model and actor Laetitia Casta in South Africa. The program encouraged creatives across various fields to dream, dare and create and stand a chance to be offered a R100,000 bursary to support their latest creative project.
The Cointreau Creative Crew highlighted the talents of remarkable South African artists: Manthe Ribane, a performance artist and contemporary dancer; Karabo Poppy Moletsane, an illustrator and visual artist; and Lisa Ting Chong, a designer and photographer from Cape Town and musician, Nonku Phiri.
The series was shot by South African photographer Andrew Brauteseth and art directed by myself. The campaign as initially intended to only be used editorially but Cointreau Global liked the campaign so much that they negotiated a buy-out to use the images for ATL and OOH for the DreamDareCreate campaign.
